CROP is a voluntary organisation working to end the sexual exploitation of children and young people by pimps and traffickers

CROP was founded in 1996 by Irene Ivison whose 17-year-old daughter Fiona was murdered in 1993, three weeks after being coerced into working in street prostitution by a known pimp. She supported many parents in similar situations by personal contact and advice. Tragically she died in 2000.

CROP is dedicated to combatting sexual exploitation. It supports affected parents (especially through its Parent Support Unit), and presses for multi-agency intervention and the effective use of legislation to target pimps.

Text Box: Quotes from an evaluation carried out by Barnardo's CANA project •	CROP provides much needed support for families facing issues of pimping and can be seen as a benchmark organisation due to its family centred approach. •	CROP must also be congratulated for the way in which it has been able to raise the issue of pimping at a national level.

A Guide to Parent Support Work

A worker's guide to supporting parents affected by the sexual exploitation of their children.

Stop! She's my daughter.

This is a book of parents' stories as told to Christine Miles with illustrations by Helen Anderson. These stories are powerful, disturbing, heartbreaking and defiant. By telling them these parents hope they might make a difference to the lives of others caught up in modern-day slavery.
