Run for All

At 8am on Sunday 19 June, 6,300 runners descended on Leeds City Centre for the 5th anniversary of the Jane Tomlinson Run for All Leeds 10K. There was a light but consistent rain and it was cold and overcast. This didn’t dampen the atmosphere of anticipation as the time for the race approached.

The race started at 9am and amongst the thousands of runners, 12 CROP CHAMPIONS set off along the route. It is the first time that CROP has entered a Run for All team.

Every CROP CHAMPION completed the course and did their best. We are so thrilled that this event went well for CROP. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and it was wonderful to see our team as well as so many other people do something positive to raise funds for their nominated charity.

Everyone at CROP is very grateful for the effort that our team made to run, support and gather sponsorship. CROP says a ‘BIG THANK YOU!!’ to all the CHAMPIONS: Gill, Natasha, Carole, Karen, Moyra, Christina, Val, Michelle, Julie, Sharon, Sarah, and Tim. ‘Well Done!’

CROP would also like to say another ‘BIG THANK YOU!!’ to our donors:

Pomegreat: For the donation of Pomegreat juice which the CHAMPIONS enjoyed at the end of the race.

FASTSIGNS: For the donation of two banners for CROP.

ASDA: For the donation of fruit and biscuits for the CHAMPIONS.

The Body Shop: For the donation of peppermint foot lotion for the CHAMPIONS.

If you would like to donate to CROP, it is not too late. Please go to http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity. THANK YOU for your support and donations.
