CROP works with the parents of sexually exploited children and young people to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation, and its impact on children and families. CROP, working alongside parents, challenges the myths and assumptions that perpetuate the sexual exploitation of children and that exclude parents and carers from interventions to safeguard their children.
CROP raises awareness through organising conferences, seminars and workshops, and by delivering training and talks. CROP works to use mass media to challenge and change public attitudes, and advocates for appropriate responses to support children and families, and to prosecute perpetrators. CROP runs public campaigns to bring significant issues affecting families to the public’s attention.
