Pimping is the term used to refer to perpetrators (usually men) who sexually exploit children and young people for commercial, financial gain.

People must take the hold these men have over the girls seriously. The approach that the girls must take responsibility should be discarded. One has to target the men and prosecute them and remove them from the scene and then offer some help to the girls that is acceptable to them.

I’d like to understand what these pimps are like, what makes them tick. How they can persuade girls they’re their boyfriends, and then make them sell their body. I suppose that’s drugs too. They steal people’s lives: their hopes and their dreams. Joanna’s ‘boyfriend’ did that for four years before her body was found.
